THE Trust has rescued a number of derelict and ‘at risk’ buildings in Hackney and restored, refurbished and found new uses for them.
These include the Round Chapel, in Clapton, and St Augustine's Tower, in Hackney Central, which is the borough's oldest building. Both locations are now iconic local landmarks and community venues.
