Dalston Eastern Curve Garden

BUILT on the site of a disused railway line, this semi-secret garden is hidden behind hoardings next to Dalston's famous peace mural.

Trees and shrubs including hazel, hawthorn and birch have been planted alongside butterfly bushes, bracken and other plants to attract wildlife.

The garden also includes large raised beds for growing food, such as tomatoes, peppers and scented herbs, all nurtured by Dalston residents.

This tranquil oasis often hosts community events and school visits.
