Win tickets to see cult classic films at Hackney Wick theatre The Yard

DESTINATION Hackney is giving away tickets to a new cult film season at The Yard theatre.

The Hackney Wick creative space will show Living in Oblivion, which stars Steve Buscemi as a low-budget film director struggling to complete his movie in the midst of interruptions from the cast and crew, tonight (21 February) at 7.30pm.

Next, a behind-the-scenes look at the 1970s adult entertainment industry in Paul Thomas Anderson’s memorable star-studded Boogie Nights, will be screened at 7.30pm on Friday, 22 February.

Pedro Almodovar’s Oscar-winning off-beat All About My Mother, which sees a tragedy-stricken mother find comfort with new idiosyncratic friends, completes this week's film trio at 5pm on Sunday, 24 February.

Ed Wood, Tootsie and The Artist are set to be screened at the Queen's Yard venue next week.

A dormant East London warehouse, The Yard was converted and split into two sections – one housing the theatre, the other a bar and café in 2011. Made with recycled and reclaimed material, the theatre seats 130 in a fully raked amphitheatre.

Films at the Yard tickets are available to buy for £7.

For a chance of winning a pair of tickets to one of the three film screenings this week, retweet this story on Twitter; share on Facebook; or send an e-mail to: info@destinationhackney.co.uk. Please state your preferred night in the entry.
