We love weekends

Last chance to see Laura Marling's bonkers but brilliant theatrical music experience with immersive performance peddlers Secret Cinema. True to form, it involves dress up, role-play and a near exhaustive number of surprises. £35-45 plus booking. Friday-Saturday 28-29 June.

London Gypsy Orchestra Launch performance

Enjoy performances from the London Gypsy Orchestra as they help launch a programme of summer events marking the pedestrianisation of the Narrow Way. Twenty musicians will entertain the crowds with traditional music from Eastern Europe and the Balkans. 11am-1pm. Free. Saturday, 29 June.

Summer Rites - Pride in the Park

'London's original gay festival' returns with a roster that includes Horse Meat Disco, Jodie Harsh, Sink the Pink, Princess Julia and a performance from Atomic Kitten. Sixty DJs and shows are set to fill Shoreditch Park. £27.50. Saturday, 29 June.

Feast In The Fields

The monthly gathering for all that’s great about London street food - this time at London Fields Brewery. The line-up includes Jimmy Garcia and the sugary sweetness of You Doughnut. £5/9. Saturday to Sunday, 29-30 June.

Hackney Tours

A walking tour drawing on the rich history of this fast evolving part of East London with experienced tour guide, travel writer and local Simon Cole. Followed by an informal discussion at a local bar/café. As part of the Lab Film Festival. Leaves from Hackney Wick Overground station. Sunday, 30 June.
