Cinema and culture show MexFest brings a slice of Mexico to London

CULTURAL festival MexFest returns to the capital bringing the best of contemporary Mexican film, architecture, music and visual treats for its second year.

Rich Mix, in Shoreditch, will be showcasing new and classic films from renowned Mexican filmmakers with a selection curated by Morelia International Film Festival, Ambulante and Canana.

In addition, some of Mexico’s most vibrant young artists are set to bring a series of exclusive exhibitions to London: Pablo Delgado is currently putting the final touches to a sound installation that will bring the noise of Mexico to the streets of London and Daniel Guzmán is creating a unique art piece for MexFest.

The celebration continues across London, dropping in on BFI Southbank, Canary Wharf, the V&A Museum and the Royal Academy of Arts. MexFest runs between 11-14 July.
