Free ticket giveaway for Wireless, Hard Rock Calling and Electric Daisy Carnival festivals

HUNDREDS of free tickets are up for grabs to see top international acts in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park this summer.

Hackney residents can apply for tickets to one of a series of events taking place in the park from the end of June.

Festivities begin with Hard Rock Calling on 29 and 30 June featuring Kasabian, Paul Weller and Bruce Springsteen and the E-street Band. Next up, The Summer Stampede sees Mumford and Sons headline on 6 July.

Yahoo! Wireless Festival brings Justin Timberlake and Jay Z to the stage from 12 and 14 July, and the Electric Daisy Carnival promises an electronic music extravaganza on 20 July.

Residents can apply for one pair of tickets to one event. To apply, e-mail: summerevents@hackney.gov.uk including the name and date of the event you want to attend in the subject line as well as your full postcode.

Children aged 15 or under must be accompanied by an adult. Electric Daisy Carnival requires anyone under 18 to be accompanied by an adult. Entry will only be allowed with proof of address, such as a Council Tax bill.

Closing date is 23 June. Winners will be chosen at random and notified by e-mail by 26 June.
