Tiësto to sparkle at Electric Daisy Carnival in Olympic Park this summer

TIËSTO, Avicii and Steve Angello have been announced as headliners for a new UK dance music festival – Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) – at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in July.

Partnered by superclubs Cream and Insomniac, EDC is coming to the UK for the first time after a successful run in the US.

Alesso, Hardwell, Crookers, Shy FX, Mistajam, Goldie and Madeon are among the other names to play across the main stage and three arenas.

Reserved tickets are being offered to residents in London 2012 host boroughs – Hackney, Newham, Waltham Forest and Tower Hamlets – until Saturday, 13 April.

Following Wireless and Hard Rock Calling, it's the latest music festival from promoters Live Nation announced for the Olympic Park this summer.

Taking advantage of the vast space at the Olympic Park site, expect the full carnival experience with rides, art installations and hundreds of costume-clad performers.

Tickets for the 20 July show cost £47.50 plus booking fee.

To claim resident tickets, visit: Ticketmaster. For the full line-up, go to the Electric Daisy Carnival.
