The Bleeding Hearts Circus comes to Hoxton Hall

AUDIENCES are set to go on an aerial adventure when The Bleeding Hearts Circus comes to town.

This intimate cabaret show dedicates itself to the many forms of love – both the soaring highs and heartbreaking lows – as performers take a heady journey down the path of romance.

Stories will unfold on the ground and in the air on trapezes, silks, corde lisses and aerial hoops.

Troupe Airealism has been successful in capturing the public’s attention with its creative and imaginative performances, which have seen them play to packed audiences at Glastonbury, Edinburgh Fringe and
Shunt nightclub.

Their uniqueness stems from having performers who manage to run away with the circus, while continuing to hold down day jobs as lawyers, engineers, actuaries and writers.

Previous shows have received rave reviews, including praise as ‘unfeigned avant-gardism’ by Time Out, and ‘magically distilling one art form into another', from The Guardian.

This 20-person strong band of vibrant mavericks, encompass all manner of performance skills from acro-balancing, contortion and roller-skating to physical theatre.

The show at Hoxton Hall runs from 30 May to 1 June. Tickets cost £8/12. For more info, click here.
